Director of La Concorde Holdings Limited and non-executive director of HCI Resources Proprietary Limited and Paarl-Vallei Botteleringsmaatskappy Proprietary Limited.

Antonio (“Cisco”) joined HCI as Group financial manager in 2010. He has served on a number of executive committees and boards of HCI’s subsidiary companies. Cisco qualified as a chartered accountant at PKF (Cpt) Inc and worked at PSG Asset Management prior to joining HCI.

John Anthony Copelyn | Director

B.A. (Hons), B.Proc.

Joined HCI as chief executive officer in 1997. Prior to this he was a Member of Parliament and general secretary of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union. He is chairperson of HCI subsidiary companies Deneb Investments Limited, eMedia Holdings Limited and Tsogo Sun Limited and associate company Southern Sun Limited, which are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Yunis Shaik | Director

B.Proc

Prior to his appointment at HCI, Yunis was an attorney of the High Court and served as an acting judge in the Labour Court. He is a former deputy general secretary of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union and served as a senior commissioner to the CCMA in KwaZulu-Natal. He is chairperson of Frontier Transport Holdings Limited and a director of Deneb Investments Limited, eMedia Holdings Limited and Tsogo Sun Limited. Yunis was appointed to the board of HCI in August 2005 as a non-executive director.

James Robert Nicolella | Director

CA(SA)

James Nicolella is a chartered accountant who joined Hosken Consolidated Investments in 2003 and has served in various senior financial and investment roles within the group. He is currently a director of HCI and several of its subsidiaries, bringing extensive experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy.
